Anbar province during the reign of the Abbasid state capital.. Abu Abbas Mohammed bin Abdullah Abbasi and Al-Mansur area for the production of asphalt and shipbuilding

The Abbasid Caliph Abu Abbas took Mohammed bin Abdullah Abbasi year 134 AH Anbar province capital of the Abbasid state and built the palaces where the Al-Mansur resided that built the city of Baghdad in 145 AH. The land route linking the Euphrates River and the Mediterranean Sea to the Arabian Gulf, the armies entering and leaving the Iraq pass this region. The region has suffered a number of migrations coming on the island and where the immigrants settled and built palaces and temples. It is one of the famous asphalt production areas and the shipbuilding industry in the old Iraq.
