What is a reproductive health?.. A state of complete physical, mental and social well in all matters relating to the reproductive system and its functions and processes, and not merely the absence of disease or disability

Reproductive health is defined in paragraph 7.2 of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development:"Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well in all matters relating to the reproductive system and its functions and processes, and not merely the absence of disease or disability." Health therefore implies that the reproductive ability of people to enjoy a satisfying and safe sex, and their ability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when and frequency. The implication of this last condition the right of men and women to be on the knowledge of the means of safe and effective, feasible and acceptable choice for family planning as well as other means of their choice for regulation of fertility which are not inconsistent with the law, and ease of access to such means, and the right of access to health care services that would allow women selected stages of pregnancy and childbirth safely and provide better opportunities for the couple to have a healthy baby.
 Authority of the United Nations (Security Council USA) organization and planning, studies and research management, conferences, and the United Nations Fund for Population is the head of the spear, and primarily responsible for the organization of these programs help the rest of the various organizations (UNICEF - WHO - and the World Bank ... ), together with some governmental or non-voluntary associations and non-governmental NGOS (associations, civil society). Reproductive health is a goal of the work of the United Nations Fund for Population.
