Libya: spending $ 76 billion on programs and development projects, the last five years

Libya spent on development programs and projects in the past five years about $ 76 billion.

The report pointed out that the total contracts for development projects in Libya amounted to 141.482 billion Libyan dinars (about $ 113 billion) criticized the weakness of the specialized technical departments to follow up these projects.

He referred in this connection that such projects suffered from many problems and obstacles have been overcome after three years starting from the beginning of the development program.

According to the report published by the newspaper (The Sun) Libyan edition on Monday that among those projects with regard to housing and utilities, which pointed out that it accounted for 59.7 'of the total value of contracts.

The report noted that there is a decline in the proportion of contribution to the Libyans in the implementation of development projects and limiting the contribution of the majority of them the work of the secondary, a reference to the apparent lack of training programs and rehabilitation of the hands of the local workforce and to the decline in skill and specialization required for the implementation of projects.

It is noteworthy that the total amount allocated by Libya to its development, which covers the period from 2008 to 2012 amounting to 147.106 billion dinars, or about $ 117 billion.
